Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 7/6/15
7/6 is the day of Water Sheep in the month of Water Horse. This is a harmonious combination. It favors free-lancers and entrepreneurs.
Sheep is the Star of Art for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for working creatively.
Sheep generally favors Sheep, Pig, Rabbit, Horse, and Snake; is neutral toward Monkey, Rooster, Tiger, and Dragon; clashes with Ox, and Dog; and is either good or bad with Rat depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 40, line 2.
Hexagram 40 is Jie, Release. Step by step progress is good. If there is no reason to go forward, it is good to come back. If there is something for you to do, it is good to complete it in a timely manner.
Line 2 He slays three foxes in the field and receives a golden arrow. This means conquer your ignorance, anger, and greed. The golden arrow is a great prize. It means good fortune. The zodiac sign of line 2, Dragon, is in partial harmony with the signs of changing lines, 1, 5, and 6, and is in harmony with the signs for the day and month. The Water of Water Sheep day puts a dragon in line 2. Taking positive action is very auspicious now.
The elements of this hexagram are Wood, Water, and Wood. It is good for growth and enterprising.
