Chinese astrological I Ching reading for 9/12

9/12 is the day of Metal Rabbit in the month of Wood Monkey. It is the last day of the lunar month of Wood Monkey. This is a discordant combination. It favors competitiveness, and can bring discord in personal relationships, especially in marriage and with in-laws.
Rabbit is the Star of Romance for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a day to be careful with your relationship.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep this is a good day for making progress with your work.
Rabbit generally favors Rabbit, Sheep, Pig, Dog, and Tiger; is neutral toward Snake, Horse, Monkey, and Ox; clashes with Rat and Rooster; and is either good or bad with Dragon depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen astrological method, is number 12, line 3.

Hexagram 12 is Bi, Stagnation. Evil, petty people are successful. The good need to be patient. The great departs. The small approaches.

Line 3 advises not biting off more than you can chew. The zodiac sign for line 3, Rabbit, is weak by the season. It represents money in this hexagram. For a man, it also represents a romantic interest. It is not too prosperous. Options are limited. Rabbit is partly harmonious with the signs of changing line, 1, is harmonious with the sign for the day, and neutral with the sign for the month. None of this helps much. The Metal of Metal Rabbit day, however, puts a dragon in line 3. This is auspicious. Don't hesitate to take advantage of an opportunity if it shows up. In other words, if prospects seem poor, you might get lucky. Carpe diem.
