Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/1/15

10/1 is the day of Metal Dog in the month of Wood Rooster. This is a harmonious combination. It is highly motivated and aggressive, and favors competitiveness.
Dog is the Star of Art for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a day or month of one of these three signs this is an especially good day for creative work.
Dog generally favora Dog, Tiger, Horse, Rabbit, and Monkey; is neutral toward Pig, Rat, Tiger, and Snake; clashes with Dragon, Dog, and Sheep; and is either good or bad with Rooster depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 19, line 2.

Hexagram 19 is Lin, Approach. Perseverance brings success.

Line 2 favors mutual approach. The zodiac sign of line 2, Rabbit, being empty this day, is made strong and invulnerable by the season. By the hexagram, it gets money. Rabbit is neutral with the signs of changing lines, 4 and 5, and in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Metal of Metal Dog puts a tortoise in line 2. You succeed if you keep your business to yourself.
