Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/17/15

9/17 is the day of Fire Monkey in the month of Wood Rooster. This is a harmonious combination. It favors intellectual pursuits, making money, and working to resolve difficulties. You may get some good ideas. It is also says that those who are weak or ill need to be careful now, while those who are strong will thrive.
Monkey is the Traveling Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this may be a busy day, good for fixing up your home or work place, making progress with your work, and traveling.
Monkey generally favors Monkey, Rat, Dragon, Rooster, and Dog; is neutral toward Ox, Rabbit, Horse, and Sheep; and clashes with Pig, Tiger, and Snake.
The I Ching hexagram for this day is number 47, line 1.

Hexagram 47 is Kun, Exhaustion. Success through perseverance. The superior person has good luck. No blame. When you have something to say no one listens.

Line 1 Sitting under a dead tree, and wandering into a gloomy valley, you see nothing for three years. Snap out of it. The zodiac sign of line 1, Tiger, is weak by the season. It represents money in this hexagram. It clashes with the signs of the day and month, and the Fire of Fire Monkey day puts another tiger in line 1. The hunter may become the hunted. In other words, don't try to bite off more than you can chew. You don't want to spend all your money on a bad gamble.
