Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/8/15

9/8 is the day of Fire Pig in the month of Wood Monkey. This is a partially harmonious combination. It encourages resolving difficulties and favors making money.
Pig is the Traveling Star for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this may be a busy day, favorable for making progress at work, rearranging your home or work place, and traveling.
Pig generally favors Rabbit, Sheep, Tiger, Rat, and Ox; is neutral toward Dragon, Horse, Rooster, and Dog; and clashes with Pig, Snake, and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 37, line 2.

Hexagram 37 is Jiaren, the Family. The tenacity of a woman brings success.

Line 2 advises paying attention to matters at hand, not wandering. The zodiac sign of line 2, Ox, is strong by the season. It represents money. Ox is in harmony with the signs of changing lines 1, 3, and 6, and with the sign of the day and month. The Fire of Fire Pig day puts a worm in line 2. This favors paying attention to what makes money for you, and working to get past whatever obstacles you may have.
