Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 12/12/15

12/12 is the day of Water Dog in the month of Earth Rat. This is a partly discordant combination. It is very weak for family relationships. And, while it favors independence and competitiveness, it warns of intolerance and anger.
Dog is the Star of Arts for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for creative thinking and work.
Dog generally favors Dog, Tiger, Horse, Rabbit, and Monkey; is neutral toward Pig, Rat, Tiger, and Snake; clashes with Dragon and Sheep; and is either good or bad with Rooster depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 57, line 6.

Hexagram 57 is Sun, Penetration. Success through what is small. Time to be active, and it helps to see experts.

Line 6 Wind penetrating under the bed. You lose your property and your axe. Bad luck. This warns against going to far and being indecisive. The zodiac signs of line 6. Rabbit and Rat, clash with one another. They are strong by the season, and, by the hexagram, represent resources: home, food, education, all that supports you. They also represent your relationships with others around you. Rabbit and Rat are in partial harmony with the signs of changing line, 2, and with the signs of the day and month. Trouble with others is caused by inner conflict. The Water of Water Dog day puts a tiger in line 6. Anger can cause harm.
