Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 12/20/15

12/20 is the day of Metal Horse in the month of Earth Rat. This is a partly harmonious combination. It favors productivity.
Horse is the Commanding Star for  Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day to move forward in your work, or projects.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is a good day for romance.
Horse favors Dog, Tiger, Sheep, and Snake; is neutral toward Monkey, Rooster, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Horse, Rat, and Ox.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 7, line 3.

Hexagram 7 is Shi, the Army. It requires the persistence and strength of a powerful leader. Good fortune. No blame. This hexagram is good in winter.

Line 3 If the army carries corpses in the wagon, bad luck. The zodiac sign of line 3, Horse, is weak by the season, and, by the hexagram, represents money. A money interest is weak. Horse is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 2, but clashes with the signs of the day and month. Small gain, maybe, but not worth much. The Metal of Metal Horse day puts a snake in line 3. Not to overestimate your chances, but there is something being overlooked. Caution is advised.
