Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 12/4/15

12/4 is the day of Wood Tiger in the month of Fire Pig. This is a harmonious combination. It gives prosperity and luck, and favors such interests as research, secret investigation, metaphysics, astrology, care for others, medicine, writing, and the arts.
Tiger is the Traveling Star for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three, this may be a busy day, good for rearranging your home, moving forward in your work, and traveling.
Tiger favors Tiger, Horse, Dog, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; is neutral toward Sheep, Rooster, Rat, and Ox; and clashes with Snake and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 6, line 4.

Hexagram 6 is Song, Conflict. Your intentions may be good, but you may run up against opposition. Stopping halfway is advantageous. Trying to force your way is disastrous. It helps to get expert advice. It is not time to cross the great water. This hexagram is bad in winter.

Line 4 advises not engaging in conflict. The zodiac sign of line 4, Horse, is weak by the season, and, by the hexagram, represents those who come around you, such as your friends, colleagues, associates, and siblings. Horse is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 6, and with the sign of the day, but is out of harmony with the sign of the month. The Wood of Wood Tiger day puts a snake in line 4. Not everyone is being open. Pay attention to what is hidden. This is a good day to get insights through occult means.
