Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 12/19/15

12/19 is the day of Earth Snake in the month of Earth Rat. This is a harmonious combination. It brings luck, but warns of impatience and anger. It favors making money.
Snake is the Traveling Star for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this may be a busy day, good for making career moves, rearranging your home, and traveling.
Snake favors Snake, Rooster, Ox, Horse, and Sheep; is neutral toward Dog, Rat, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Monkey, Pig, and Tiger.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 57, line 6.

Hexagram 57 is Sun, the Penetrating. Wind blows, grass bends, success through small things. It is time to be active and to see people of influence.

Line 6 advises being decisive, not analyzing things too much. The zodiac sign of line 6, Rabbit, is strong by the season, and, by the hexagram represents those who associate with you: your friends, colleagues, siblings. Rabbit is partly in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 2 and 3, is neutral toward the sign of the day, and doesn't interact with the sign of the month, as it is now empty and ineffective. Relations are somewhat complicated. The Earth of Earth Snake day puts a worm in line 6. There may be obstacles.
