Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 12/26/15

12/26 is the day of Fire Rat in the month of Earth Rat. This is a harmonious combination. It favors those who are trustworthy, upright, moral, rational, disciplined, and forthright.
Rat is the Star of Romance for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for romantic interests.
Rat is the Commanding Star for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these signs, this is a good day for taking charge and moving forward in your work.
Rat favors Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Ox, and Pig; is neutral toward Tiger, Snake, Rooster, and Dog; clashes with Rabbit and Horse; and is either good or bad with Sheep depending on circumstances.
The I Ching for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 25, line 4.

Hexagram 25 is Wuwang, Innocence. Supreme success. It is good to persevere. For those who are not as they should be, however, it spells bad luck, and advises not to do anything.  This hexagram is good in winter. It alludes to a legacy, or inheritance.

Line 4 advises not to listen to what others would like to tell you now, but follow your inner sense of what is right. That way you will not make a mistake. It also advises, if traveling, to go over land, not by sea. In other words, it is better to have firm ground under your feet.
The zodiac signs of line 4, Horse and Sheep, are in harmony with one another, are weak by the season, and, by the hexagram, represent your creative interests, or business interests and money prospects. It's ok but not strong. Horse and Sheep are partly discordant and harmonious with the signs of changing line, 1, and clash with the signs of the day and month. Conditions are risky. What looks like a gain could bring a loss. A fight, if there is one, will result in a Pyrrhic victory. The Fire of Fire Rat day puts a tiger in line 4. This is dangerous. To engage in conflict results in injury.
