Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 5/13/16

5/13 is the day of Wood Sheep in the month of Water Snake. This is a harmonious combination. It favors creative work.
This day is good for detailed work, planning, solitude, creative work, and traveling. If traveling, try to avoid southwest and northeast directions. If making fengshui adjustments, look for possible problems in the southwest and northeast.
This day is bad for getting into arguments.
Sheep is the Star of Art for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is an especially good day for creative activity.
Sheep favors Sheep, Pig, Rabbit, Horse, and Snake; is neutral toward Monkey, Rooster, Tiger, and Dragon; clashes with Dog and Ox; and is ambivalent toward Rat.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 35, line 4.

Hexagram 35 is Jin, Advance. The Prince is given large numbers of horses, and receives an audience with the king three times in a single day.

Line 4 warns against trying to make progress like a rodent. The zodiac sign for line 4, Rooster, is weak by the element of the season, and, by the element of the hexagram, signifies people with whom you associate. Rooster is in an ambivalent relation with the signs of changing lines, 2 and 6, is neutral toward the sign of the day, and is in harmony with the sign of the month. Earlier unease gives way to later security. The Wood of Wood Sheep day puts a snake in line 4. Pay attention to details. Watch for hidden matters. Caution is the watchword.
