Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 6/2/16

6/2 is the day of Wood Rabbit in the month of Water Snake. This is a harmonious combination. It favors creativity and promotes prosperity. This is an auspicious, open day.
This day is good for independence, confidence, and decisiveness. It is also good for creativity, optimism, and learning; also traveling, starting a new business enterprise, making renovations, moving house, and traveling. If you are making fengshui adjustments, look at the south, north, and west directions for possible problems. The Chi of this day lends to auspicious outcomes, financial growth, and receiving help from superiors. The favorable directions are southeast, southwest, and northeast.
This day is bad for putting things off, postponing things, squandering money, being irresponsible, lacking self-restraint, being arrogant, dramatic, and craving attention and approval. The unfavorable directions are south, north, and west.
Rabbit, the sign of this day, is the Commanding Star for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is an especially good day for making progress in your career.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, this is an especially good day for romantic affairs.
Rabbit favors Rabbit, Sheep, Pig, Tiger, and Dog; is neutral toward Snake, Horse, Monkey, and Ox; clashes with Rat and Rooster; and is ambivalent with Dragon.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 15, line 5.

Hexagram 15 is Qian, Modesty. Success. Carry things out completely.

Line 5 Deal with others modestly, and attack with force. The zodiac signs of line 5, Pig and Rooster, are neutral toward one another, and are both weak by the element of the season. By the element of the hexagram, Pig signifies business, and Rooster signifies people coming. It suggests a productive day. Pig and Rooster are for the most part in harmony with the signs of changing line, 4. Pig is in harmony with the sign of the day, and clashes with the sign of the month; and rooster clashes with the sign of the day and is in harmony with the sign of the month. There is a feeling of restlessness and a need to act. The Wood of Wood Rabbit day puts a tiger in line 5. Seize the day.
