Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 6/7/16

6/7 is the day of Metal Monkey in the month of Wood Horse. This is a partly discordant combination. It favors diligence and prosperity.
This is a fair day, favoring full accomplishment of many things. It is suitable for burials, and good for legal matters, good financial management, taking calculated risks, standing up to challenges, and traveling. The favorable directions are northeast, east, south, and southwest.
This day is bad for renovations, moving house, breaking ground, impatience, anger, indecision, poor financial management, and worry. The unfavorable directions are southeast and northwest.
Monkey, the sign of this day, is the Traveling Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is an especially good day for making positive moves in your career, cleaning up your space, and traveling.
Monkey favors Monkey, Rat, Dragon, Rooster, and Dog; is neutral toward Ox, Rabbit, Horse, and Sheep; and clashes with Pig, Tiger, and Snake.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 11, line 3.

Hexagram 11 is Tai, Peace. The small departs, the great approaches. Good fortune.

Line 3 The law of cyclical change is forever constant. Yang becomes yin; yin becomes yang. Up and down, fullness and emptiness alternate. It is the way of nature. The zodiac sign of line 3, Dragon, is weak by the element of the season, and, by the element of the hexagram signifies those who come around you, friends, colleagues, siblings, people you know, or your relations with others in general. Dragon is in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 1 and 4, as well as with the signs of the day and month. All dealings are favored. Wealth is properly obtained. The Metal of Metal Monkey day puts another dragon in line 4. This is auspicious. It favors productivity.
