Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 6/28/16

6/28 is the day of Metal Snake in the month of Wood Horse. This is a partly discordant combination. It favors competitiveness and speculation. It also helps resolve difficult conditions.
This day is designated as auspicious and closed. It is good for resolving matters.
The day is good for making renovations, breaking ground, digging, excavating for water works, moving house, putting things in storage, getting married, starting a business, traveling, and seeing the doctor. All positive activity begun today will have long lasting beneficial results. Favorable directions are west, northeast, and east.
This day is bad for legal fights and arguments. It is unfavorable to travel south or north.
Snake, the sign of this day, is the Traveling Star for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day to make progress in your work, rearrange your home or work place, and travel.
Snake favors Snake, Rooster, Ox, Horse, and Sheep; is neutral toward Dog, Rat, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Monkey, Pig, and Tiger.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 15, line 5.

Hexagram 15 is Qian, Modesty. Success. Carry things out thoroughly.

Line 5 Action speaks louder than words. The zodiac signs of line 5, Pig and Dog, are neutral toward one another, and are both weak by the element of the season. By the element of the hexagram they signify support and creative, or business interests. Pig and Dog are in harmony with the signs of changing line, 3, and in a partial clash with the sign of the day, but harmony with the sign of the month. For the most part this is productive. Where there are obstacles, it will help to reflect on the laws of fortune. The Metal of Metal Snake day puts a worm in line 5. Pay attention to details.
