Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 1/16/17

1/16 is the day of Water Rabbit in the month of Metal Ox. This is a harmonious combination. It favors military, judicial, surgical careers, or careers in which there is some element of risk.
This day is designated as inauspicious and full. It is very bad for ground breaking, warns of illness, and is not good for any major undertaking.
A full day is when one may expect bountiful returns.
The lunar mansion is Zhang, Bow. A very good star, in context, it favors all commercial and personal activities.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, this day is good for romantic affairs.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, this day favors moving forward in your career.
Rabbit, the sign for this day, is in harmony with Rabbit, Sheep, Pig, Tiger, and Dog; neutral with Snake, Horse, Monkey, and Ox; clashes with Rat and Rooster; and is ambivalent with Dragon.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 29, line 6.

Hexagram 29 is Kan, Water. If you are sincere, whatever you do works out.

Line 6  Rashness leads to unfortunate entanglements. The zodiac sign for line 6 is Rat. By the element of the season, Rat is strong. By the element of the hexagram, Rat signifies colleagues. Rat is basically in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 2 and 4, clashes with the sign of the day, and is in harmony with the sign of the month. Changing sequences makes for confusion. Caution. The Water of Water Rabbit day puts a tiger in line 6. There is danger. Keep your eyes open.
