Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 1/27/17

This is the last day of the year. Tomorrow is Chinese new year. 1/27 is the day of Wood Tiger in the month of Metal Ox. This is a clashing combination. It favors finance, monetary and commercial matters, entrepreneurship, and investment and trading.

The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 20, line 4.  

Hexagram 20 is Guan, Observation. The ablution and been made but not the sacrifice. The people look to him with great trust. 

Line 4 Contemplation of the light of the kingdom. The king's invitation will be profitable for him. The zodiac sign of line 4 is Sheep. By the element of the season, Sheep is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Sheep signifies resources. Sheep is partly harmonious, partly discordant with the signs of changing line, 6, neutral with the sign of the day, and clashes with the sign of the month. The Wood of Wood Tiger day puts a snake in line 4. Pay attention to the details.
