Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 11/15/14

11/15 is the day of Metal Tiger in the month of Wood Pig. This is a harmonious combination with strongly transformative qualities. It favors people who are highly intelligent, perceptive, talented, inventive, creative, artistic, hard working, and focused on making money. It favors turning problematic situations around to advantage, and it promotes progress in studies.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this is a good day to travel, rearrange your home or work place, and take positive steps forward in your career.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rat, or Ox, this is a good day to listen to yourself, work alone, and enjoy your solitude.
If you were born in a year of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, this is a good day to exercise your planning abilities, but a bad day to engage in any legal fights, or conflicts in personal relationships.
If you were born in a year of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is not the best day for important meetings or events. Wear something black to mitigate the shar (bad luck). Also, if you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is a good day to keep your eyes open for any advantageous opportunity that comes your way, but be on the lookout for the danger of theft of material possessions, money, or of ideas.
Tiger gets along harmoniously with Tiger, Horse, Dog, Rabbit, Dragon, and Pig; neutrally with Sheep, Rooster, Rat, and Ox; and discordantly with Snake, and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram of this day, using the King Wen method, is number 22, line 1.

Hexagram 22 is Pen, or Grace. It shines in all directions. Success in details. It is good to do something. The height of Grace is simplicity. This hexagram is good in winter.

Line 1 says, he gives grace to his toes. He leaves his carriage and goes by foot. Do what is necessary. Dispense with non-essentials. Get directly to the point. The zodiac sign of line 1, Rabbit, is in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 2 and 3, and with the signs of the day and month, Tiger and Pig. The Metal of Metal Tiger puts a tiger in line 1 giving it extreme dynamic energy. Take positive action. Let nothing stop you.

The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Fire, and Earth. Fire generates earth everywhere. Treasures come out of the earth. Good fortune.
