Hexagram 24 is Fu, or Return. Repeated coming and going without problems, returning is favorable. Friends come and go without blame. The way goes to and fro. It is good to have a goal.
Line 1 advises to correct a mistake. The zodiac signs of line 1, Rat and Ox, are in harmony with one another, in partial harmony with the signs of changing lines 2 and 3, in discord with the sign of the day, and in harmony with the sign of the month. The Earth of Earth Dog puts a worm in line 1. Pay attention to obstacles and difficulties. The way will open up.
The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Wood, and Earth. Wood has to grow and emerge from within the earth. Cultivate patience.
