Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 11/25/14

11/25 is the day of Metal Rat in the month of Wood Pig. This is a most harmonious combination. It favors those who use their talents and creativity to make money. It also brings out Academic Nobleman Star. Academic Nobleman works hard, is fond of study and new knowledge and has the ability of turning problematic situations to advantage.
Rat brings out Traveling Horse Star for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for traveling, rearranging your home or work place, and for making positive moves in your career.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, take advantage of any good opportunity that might come your way this day.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rooster, or Dog, this is a good day to spend some time alone. Enjoy your solitude.
If you were born in a year of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, this is not a favorable time for important meetings or events. Wear something green to mitigate shar (negative influences).
Rat gets along harmoniously with Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Pig, Ox, and sometimes Sheep; neutrally with Tiger, Snake, Rooster, and Dog; and discordantly with Rabbit, Horse, and sometimes Sheep.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 8, line 3. The changing lines are 4 and 5.

Hexagram 8 is Bi, or Union, or Loyalty. If you are sincere you will have good fortune. Those who are uncertain eventually join. Those who come too late are out of luck.

Line 3 advises to see whether you are associating with or attracting the wrong people. If so, make necessary adjustments. The zodiac sign for line 3, Rabbit, is in partial harmony with the signs of changing lines 4 and 5, in discord with the sign of the day, and in harmony with the sign of the month. The situation is complicated, but gets sorted out to advantage in the long run. The Metal of Metal Rat day puts a dragon in line 3, encouraging you to be positive and proactive.

The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Earth, and Water. The way is narrow. Watch your step.
