Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 2/12/15

2/12 is the day of Earth Sheep in the month of Fire Ox. This is a partly harmonious combination. It favors independence and resourcefulness.
Sheep is the Star of Art for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three and are involved in creative work this is a day to make real progress.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rooster, or Dog this is a day to enjoy solitude and be at peace with your own thoughts.
Sheep favors Sheep, Pig, Rabbit, Horse, Snake, and sometimes Rat; is neutral with Monkey, Rooster, Tiger, and Dragon; and clashes with Ox, Dog, and sometimes Rat.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 5, line 4.

Hexagram 5 is Xu, Waiting. Success comes if you are sincere and persistent. It is good to move forward. This hexagram is good in spring. We are in Chinese spring season.

Line 4 says if there are problems take needed time to rethink or reorganize. The zodiac sign for line 4, Monkey, is in partial harmony with the signs of changing line 5, and in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Earth of Earth Sheep puts a dragon in line 4. Deal with what comes up. The dragon is auspicious. Success comes.

The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Metal, and Water. This is a totally productive sequence.
