Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 2/23/15

2/23 is the day of Metal Horse in the month of Earth Tiger. This is a completely harmonious combination. It brings out the Deity of Secondary Resources. This one loves occult research, metaphysics, astrology, psychic arts, magic and literary arts. Metal Horse also favors love and pleasure.
Horse is the Star of Romance for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for romantic affairs.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog this is a good day to move forward in work.
Horse favors Dog, Tiger, Sheep, and Snake; is neutral toward Monkey, Rooster, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Horse, Rat, and Ox.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen calculation, is number 12, line 3.

Hexagram 23 is Bi, Negativity. Petty minded people can get the upper hand. It does not further a good person to insist on getting his way. The great leaves, the small approaches. This points to the need to avoid pettiness and pretense.

Line 3 says that if you try to achieve something beyond your capacity or ability you will regret it. Don't bite off more than you can chew. The zodiac sign for line 3, Rabbit, is in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 1 and 6, and neutral with the signs for the day and month. The Metal of Metal Horse day puts a dragon in line 3. Seek moderation.

The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Earth, and Metal. Allow good spirits to guide you.
