Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 2/28/15

2/28 is the day of Wood Pig in the month of Earth Tiger. This is a partly discordant combination. It brings out Conventional Wealth Deity. Conventional Wealth Deity likes to control and manipulate people and things. It values sensory pleasures and desires fame and fortune. It promotes careers in finance, commerce, entrepreneurship, investing, and trading. The combination of Wood Pig and Earth Tiger also brings out a Star of Aggression, or Knife Blade. This star is resolute, and potentially destructive. It can become intolerant and angry. Wood Pig is highly intelligent and perceptive.
Pig is the Traveling Star for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is an active day, good for traveling, changing or rearranging your home or place of work, and/or making positive progress in your career.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 43, line 5.

Hexagram 43 is Kui, Resoluteness, or Decision. One must announce the matter truthfully in court. Danger. It is time to advance.

Line 5 says that in weeding out your own errors and weaknesses, strong resolution is necessary. Follow the middle course. The zodiac sign for line 5, Rooster, is in partial harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Wood of Wood Pig day puts a tiger in line 5. Pursue your aim without hesitation.

The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Metal, and Metal. It is highly productive. Success is attainable.
