Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 2/25/15

2/25 is the day of Water Monkey in the month of Earth Tiger. This is a discordant combination. It brings out Imposing Authority Deity. Imposing Authority Deity favors those who are authoritarian, aspiring, vigorous, alert, firm, and who like to lead. It also favors adventurous, risky professions, and especially the military.
Water Monkey is highly intelligent, and can take advantage of difficult situations. It is also lucky and prosperous.
Monkey is the Traveling Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is an active day, good for traveling, rearranging your home or work place, and making good progress in your career.
Monkey favors Monkey, Rat, Dragon, Rooster, and Dog; is neutral toward Ox, Rabbit, Horse, and Sheep; and clashes with Pig, Tiger, and Snake.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen calculation, is number 44, line 1.

Hexagram 44 is Gou, Coming to Meet. The maiden is powerful. It is not lucky to marry. This hexagram is bad in spring.

Line 1 advises nipping evil in the bud. If someone or something bad is trying to enter your life, get away from it immediately. The zodiac sign of line 1, Ox, is in partial harmony with the signs of changing lines 2 and 4, and is in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Water of Water Monkey day puts a tortoise in line 1. Stay focused and keep your intentions private.

The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Wood, and Metal. In the midst of difficulties and oppression help comes.
