Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading:10/12/14

10/12 is the day of Fire Dragon in the month of Wood Dog. Fire Dragon is good for developing plans and projects. The energy of Fire Dragon with Wood Dog is partially discordant. It favors being resourceful, doing research, using divination, and exercising creative talent.
This day is especially favorable for artists and creative, inventive people born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon.
If you were born in a year of Snake, Rooster, or Ox this is not a very good day for any important event.
Dragon is in harmony with Monkey, Rat, Rooster, Sheep, Ox, Snake, Tiger, and Horse, neutral with Pig, and in discord with Dragon, Dog, and Rabbit.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 44, line 1.

Hexagram 44 is Meeting. Wind under Heaven symbolizes coming together and going apart. A marriage needs balance. It is not ideal for either partner to be too strong. Sexually aggressive, seductive people bring danger of loss. This hexagram is auspicious for people born in the month of Horse (mid summer, June - July). And it has positive meaning in fall.

Line 1 advises to nip evil in the bud. The zodiac signs for line 1, Ox and Rat, are very harmonious together. They are in a mixed positive and negative relation with the signs of changing lines 2 and 4, and are in a positive relation with the signs of the day and month, Dragon and Dog. The Fire of Fire Dragon puts a raven in line 1. Go forward confidently, and refuse any temptation to gossip or quarrel.

The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Wood, and Metal. If you are in straights, help is on the way.
