Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/30/14
10/30 is the day of Wood Dog in the month of Wood Dog. This is a powerful combination that can cause sudden changes, and possible sudden trouble. It brings out Red Light Star that, while attractive, can cause trouble in personal relationships. Wood Dog with Wood dog favors entrepreneurs, or those who work independently, and focuses on money, especially where there is an element of chance or risk involved.
Artistic, creative, and inventive people born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog are favored.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rat, or Ox, this is a good day to act independently and enjoy your solitude.
If you were born in a year of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep this is not the best day for important meetings or events. If you must wear something green to mitigate the shar (bad luck) of the day.
Dog is harmonious with Dog, Tiger, Horse, Rabbit, Monkey, and sometimes Rooster; neutral with Pug, Rat, and Snake; and discordant with Dragon, Ox, Sheep, and sometimes Rooster.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 55, line 5.
Hexagram 55 is Prosperity. When the sun reaches noon it begins to set. When the moon reaches full it begins to wane. Don't be sad. Be like the sun at noon. This hexagram is better for spring than fall.
Line 5 advises employing the most qualified helpers for the best results. The zodiac signs of line 5, Monkey and Dog, are in harmony with one another; in harmony with the signs of changing line 4; and in harmony with the sign of the day and month, Dog. The Wood of Wood Dog puts a tiger in line 5. Act fiercely for best results. A sudden move is good.
The elements of this hexagram are Water, Fire, and Wood. If there is confusion, recovery and improvement comes soon.
