Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 11/27/14
11/27 is the day of Water Tiger in the month of Wood Pig. This is a strongly harmonious combination. It favors those who are talented, creative, hard working, and independent. It also promotes high intelligence and makes it possible to turn problematic situations to advantage.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this is a good day for traveling or making changes in your home or work place.
If you were born in a year of Snake, Rooster, or Ox this is not the best day for important meetings, events, or getting together with the family. Don't let yourself be taken unfair advantage of, and beware of being robbed. Wear something black to tone down the shar (bad luck).
Tiger gets along harmoniously with Tiger, Horse, Dog, Rabbit, Dragon, and Pig; neutrally with Rat, Ox, Sheep, and Rooster; and discordantly with Snake and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 16, line 1.
Hexagram 16 is Yu, or Enthusiasm. It is time to get helpers and set armies marching. It symbolizes things beginning to sprout. This hexagram is not good in winter.
Line 1 says enthusiasm that is expressed too much brings misfortune. Don't talk about your plans, especially if you are a Snake, Rooster, or Ox. The zodiac sign pf line 1, Sheep, is neutral with the signs of changing line 2, neutral with the sign of the day, and in harmony with the sign of the month. There is eventual good fortune. The Water of Water Tiger day puts a tortoise in line 1, however. Beware of theft. Privacy is advised.
The elements of this hexagram are Wood, Earth, and Wood. Better to withdraw politely from problems if they begin to show up.
