Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 1/11/15

1/11 is the day of Fire Pig in the month of Fire Rat. This is a harmonious combination. It favors facing challenges skillfully and avoiding undue conflict.
Fire Pig is a star of Tien Yi. Tien Yi is the goddess whom all demons flee. She brings good fortune.
The combination of Rat and Pig bring out Heaven Medicine Star. This is fortunate for those who are in good health, but not for those who aren't. Take care of your health. Heaven Medicine Star day favors astrological and psychic consultations.
Pig is Traveling Star for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these signs this is a good day to get busy. It favors traveling, rearranging your home or office, and making positive moves in your career.
If you were born in a year of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon watch out about someone trying to take unfair advantage of you or even robbing you.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog this is a bad day for getting into an argument.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rooster, or Dog this is a good day to take time to be alone and enjoy solitude.
Pig gets along well with Rabbit, Sheep, Tiger, Rat, and Ox; neutrally with Pig, Horse, Rooster, and Dog; and problematically with Pig, Snake, and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day is number 47, line 1.

Hexagram 47 is Kun, Oppression. It's not good for a sick person. When you have something to say, no one listens. There is success through perseverance. This hexagram is bad in winter.

Line 1 encourages you to not let what appear to be adverse conditions get you down. The astrological sign for line 1, Tiger, is in harmony with the signs for the day and month. The Fire of Fire Pig puts a raven in line 1. This raven picks fights. Whatever you intend to do today can move forward smoothly, but you need to keep away from useless arguments.

The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Water, and Metal. A lot of water is being generated. Good fortune. Water means money.
