Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 1/15/15

1/15 is the day of Metal Rabbit in the month of Fire Rat. This is a tricky combination that can cause unexpected trouble. Keep your eyes open.
The combination favors those who love learning, and are artistically talented.
Metal Rabbit can bring about misunderstandings in relationships, especially in marriage and with in-laws.
The combination of Metal Rabbit and Fire Rat can turn adversity to advantage.
Rabbit is the Star of Romance for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for romance.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, this is a good day work.
Rabbit gets along well with Rabbit, Sheep, Pig, Tiger, Dog, and sometimes Dragon; neutrally with Snake, Horse, Monkey, and Ox; and problematically with Rat, Horse, and sometimes Dragon.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 54, line 3.

Hexagram 54 is Guimei, The Marrying Maiden. Nothing furthers. Better not try to force anything. This hexagram is good in winter. Best to be yielding and polite.

Line 3 warns of dangers of trying to force matters. Hold back and wait for a better time. The zodiac sign of line 3, Ox, is in harmony with the signs of changing lines 1 and 5, and the signs of the day and month. The Metal of Metal Rabbit day puts a dragon in line 3. There is protection in this, but if you try to force matters they could result in disaster.

The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Metal, and Wood. Excessive force. Be careful in engaging help.
