Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 1/21/15

1/21 is the day of Fire Rooster in the month of Fire Ox. This is a lively and harmonious combination that favors making money. Fire Rooster is highly intelligent, attracts helpful people, and has the ability to turn difficult situations to advantage. It also brings out the star called Tien Yi. Tien Yi resolves problems and gives good fortune.
Rooster is the Star of Romance for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for love.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is a good day to move positively forward in your career.
Rooster gets along well with Ox, Snake, Dragon, Monkey, and sometimes Dog; neutrally with Pig, Rat, Tiger, Horse, and Sheep; and problematically with Rooster, Rabbit, and sometimes Dog.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 50, line 2.

Hexagram 50 is Ding, the Cauldron. Clear out leftovers to prepare new food. Good fortune and success.

Line 2 encourages you to be of good faith. Do your best. If others envy you they cannot do you any harm. Good fortune. The zodiac sign on line 2, Pig, is in partial harmony with the signs of changing line 3, and in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Fire of Fire Rooster day puts a worm in line 2. If you take your time to handle details there should be no obstacle.

The elements of this hexagram are Fire, Wood, and Fire. Great productivity.
