Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 6/13/15

6/13 is the day of Metal Monkey in the month of Metal Snake. This is a partially harmonious combination. It promotes prosperity and favors independence, good for entrepreneurial people and free-lancers.
Monkey is the Traveling Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this may be a busy day, good for making progress in your career, rearranging your home or workplace, and for traveling.
Monkey generally favors Monkey, Rat, Dragon, Rooster, and Dog; is neutral toward Ox, Rabbit, Horse, and Sheep; and clashes with Pig, Tiger, and Snake.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 57, line 6.

Hexagram 57 is Sun, the Penetrating, or Wind. Good fortune through what is small. The grass bends to the wind. It is flexible. It is good to be active and to see influential people. This hexagram is good in summer.

Line 6 advises being decisive. Indecision is not a good idea. Make up your mind and act. The zodiac sign of line 6, Rabbit, is neutral with the signs of the day and month. The Metal of Metal Monkey day puts a snake in line 6. Work hard and be productive, paying attention to details and what is beneath the surface, or difficult to discern.

The elements of this hexagram are Wood, Wood, and Wood. Friends come from all directions. Everything is growing.
