Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 6/10/15

6/10 is the day of Fire Snake in the month of Metal Snake. This is a partially discordant combination. It favors independence, but, containing two Knife Blades, warns of intolerance and anger.
Snake is the Traveling Star for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a day or year of one of these three signs this may be a busy day, good for business, rearranging your home or work place, and travel.
Snake is generally good for Snake, Rooster, Ox, Horse, and Sheep; neutral toward Dog, Rat, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Monkey; Pig; and Tiger.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 8, line 3.

Hexagram 8 is Bi, Unity, or Loyalty. If you have high standards and are loyal you will have good fortune. Those who are uncertain gradually join. Those who come too late meet with misfortune. This hexagram is good in summer.

Line 3 asks you to be aware of the people and situations you are attracting. If they are good, you will have good fortune. If not, you will have misfortune. The zodiac signs for line 3, Rabbit and Rooster, clash with one another; are in partial harmony with the signs of changing lines, 2, and 6, and are in harmony with the sign for the day and month. The Fire of Fire Snake day puts a snake in line 3. There is more than meets the eye to this. Be cautious. Be aware of the consequences of your words and actions.

The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Earth, and Water. The way is very narrow. Be cautious.
