Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 6/30/15

6/30 is the day of Fire Ox in the month of Water Horse. This is a discordant combination. It promotes prosperity and favors those who are talented and inventive, and who work independently.
Ox is the Star of Art for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for creative work.
Ox generally favors Ox, Snake, Rooster, Rat, and Pig; is neutral toward Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, and Monkey; and clashes with Horse, Sheep, and Dog.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 43, line 5.

Hexagram 43 is Kui, Breakthrough. Resolutely and truthfully make matters known. Danger. It furthers to undertake something. This hexagram is good in summer.

Line 5 advises eliminating what is undesirable and taking firm action. Take the middle course. Stay balanced. The zodiac sign for line 5, Rooster, is in partial harmony with the signs of changing line, 6, and with the signs of the day and month. The Fire of Fire Ox day puts a tortoise in line 5. You will succeed with determined action especially if you keep matters private.

The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Metal, and Metal. Success.
