Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 6/15/15
6/15 is the day of Water Dog in the month of Metal Snake. This is a harmonious combination. It favors those who are resourceful in making money.
Dog is the Star of Arts for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for creative thinking and work.
Dog generally favors Dog, Tiger, Horse, Monkey, and Rabbit; is neutral toward Pig, Rat, and Snake; clashes with Ox, Dragon, and Sheep; and is either good or bad with Rooster depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 39, line 4.
Hexagram 39 is Chien, Obstruction. The southwest is good, the northeast is not. This means openness and clarity are favorable. It is advantageous to see the great man. This means it is advantageous to receive the guidance of heaven. Perseverance brings good luck.
Line 4 says advancing brings trouble. Returning brings union. Seek harmony to overcome obstacles. The zodiac sign of line 4, Monkey, is in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 1 and 6, and with the sign of the day, but clashes with the sign of the month. The Water of Water Dog day puts a worm in line 4. Trying to force your way against obstacles brings misfortune.
The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Earth, and Water. The elements are all in disorder. It helps to be patient.
