Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 6/29/15

6/29 is the day of Fire Rat in the month of Water Horse. This is an entirely discordant combination. It warns of intolerance and anger. It supports independence, competitiveness, and effort.
Rat is the Commanding Star for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for taking charge and moving ahead especially at work.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep this is a good day not to take the lead, but seek harmony and adapt.
Rat generally favors Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Ox, and Pig; is neutral toward Tiger, Snake, Rooster, and Dog; clashes with Rabbit and Horse; and is either good or bad with Sheep depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 7, line 3.

Hexagram 7 is Shi, the Army. Perseverance with correct leadership brings success.

Line 3 inept leadership results in many corpses. Be careful. The zodiac sign of line 3, Horse, clashes with the signs of the day and month. The Fire of Fire Rat puts a snake in line 3. Moving forward heedlessly, overlooking hidden danger results in disaster.

The elements of this hexagram are Water, Water, and Earth. Great effort is needed.
