Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 8/12/16

8/12 is the day of Fire Tiger in the month of Fire Monkey. This is a clash combination showing danger of sudden trouble coming up. It favors independence and speculation.
This day is designated as inauspicious and destruction. It's easy to make bad moves, and, if you decide to destroy something, you may come to regret it later.
A destruction day favors demolition, surgery, and tooth extraction. Considering the nature of the day, think twice.
The lunar mansion this day is Niu, the Ox. It is a disaster star, bad for everything.
Tiger, the sign of this day, is the Traveling Star for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for rearranging your home or work place, and making positive moves in your career, the warnings of the day notwithstanding.
Tiger favors Tiger, Horse, Dog, Rabbit, Dragon, and Pig; is neutral toward Sheep, Rooster, Rat, and Ox; and clashes with Snake and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 28, line 4.

Hexagram 28 is Daguo, Great passing. The ridgepole sags almost to the breaking point. You must make a move.

Line 4 The ridge pole is braced. If you have ulterior motives, or are not strong enough, bad luck. The zodiac sign of line, 4, Pig, is strong by the element of the season, and, by the element of the hexagram, signifies resources. Pig is in harmony with the sign of the day, and clashes with the sign of the month. The Fire of Fire Tiger day puts a tiger in line 4. This shows possible disaster. Keep your eyes open.
