Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 8/6/16

8/6 is the day of Metal Monkey in the month of Fire Monkey. This is a clash combination. It inclines to prosperity, and favors creativity and independence.
This day is designated fair and remove. It is ok for landscaping, traveling, and opening a new business.
A remove day is good for cleaning, getting rid of unwanted things, spiritual practices to get rid of bad spirits, fengshui practices to clear the space, demolitions, end bad relationships, and start a diet.
The lunar mansion this day is Di, Foundation. It is good for investing in property, but bad for marriage and burials. Construction and renovation projects started now can become a fire hazard.
Monkey, the sign for this day, is the Traveling Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a very good day for cleaning out and rearranging your home or work place, and traveling.
Monkey favors Monkey, Rat, Dragon, Rooster, and Dog; is neutral toward Ox, Rabbit, Horse, and Sheep; and clashes with Pig, Tiger, and Snake.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 52, line 6.

Hexagram 52 is Ken, Mountain. He keeps his back still and no longer feels his body. He goes into his courtyard and no longer sees his companions. No blame.

Line 6 The height of stillness. The zodica sign of line 6, Tiger, is strong by the element of the season, and, by the element of the hexagram, signifies power. Tiger is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 1, and with the sign of the day, but clashes with the sign of the month. If you are surrounded by ill will, envy, or gossip, retire. The Metal of Metal Monkey day puts a snake in line 6. Watch quietly.
