Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/11/15

10/11 is the day of Metal Monkey in the month of Wood Rooster. This is a harmonious combination. It promotes prosperity, and is aggressive and competitive. If you are healthy this is a good sign, but if you are weak or ill, it isn't, and tells you to watch your health.
Monkey is the Traveling Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three this may be a busy day, good for making progress at work, rearranging your home or workplace, and traveling.
Monkey generally favors Monkey, Rat, Dragon, Rooster, and Dog; is neutral to Ox, Rabbit, Horse, and Sheep; and clashes with Pig, Tiger, and Snake.
The I Ching hexagram for this day is number 56, line 1.

Hexagram 56 is Lu, the Traveler. Success in small things. Perseverance brings good luck.

Line 1 advises not being petty and indecisive. The zodiac signs of line 1, Dragon and Rabbit, clash with one another. They are weak by the season, and in the hexagram represent the development of business. It is not good to vacillate or be indecisive about what you are doing. Dragon and Rabbit clash with the signs of changing lines, 4 and 6. Stand up to your challenges, whatever they are. Dragon and Rabbit are in harmony with the sign of the day and in partial harmony with the sign of the month. Take advantage of the time and what opportunity it presents. The Metal of Metal Monkey day puts a tiger in line 1. Rash action, on the other hand, is ill advised. It calls for temperance with a positive outlook. Gauge your steps.
