Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/28/15

10/28 is the day of Fire Ox in the month of Fire Dog. This is a partly harmonious combination. It favors productivity and creative work.
Ox is the Star of Art for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three this is a good day for creative work.
Ox generally favors Ox, Snake, Rooster, Rat, and Pig; is neutral toward Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, and Monkey; and clashes with Horse, Sheep, and Dog.
The I Ching hexagram for this day is number 55, line 5.

Hexagram 55 is Feng, Prosperity. The king attains abundance. Don't be sad. Be like the sun at mid day.

Line 5 advises using only the best. The zodiac sign for line 5, Monkey, is strong by the season, but is now empty. This means that it can act unpredictably. By the hexagram, Monkey represents what supports you. But, being empty, it will not give support. It is eccentric. Monkey, then, is partly harmonious and partly discordant with the signs of changing lines, 2 and 6, and is in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Fire of Fire Ox day puts a tortoise in line 5. Don't  boast about your good fortune, keep secrets, and beware of nosy bodies and thieves.
