Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/4/15

10/4 is the day of Water Ox in the month of Wood Rooster. This is a harmonious combination, and it favors creativity and productivity.
Ox is the Star of Arts for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is an especially good day for creative work.
Ox generally favors Ox, Snake, Rooster, Rat, and Pig; is neutral toward Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, and Monkey; and clashes with Horse, Sheep, and Dog.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 30, line 6.

Hexagram 30 is Li, Fire. Perseverance brings success. To take care of that which takes care of you brings success.

Line 6 advises making corrections, and overcoming fears in order to go forward. The zodiac signs of line 6, Snake and Dog, are strong by the season, and represent in this hexagram your creative work, or business, interest. Snake and Dog are partly in harmony with the signs of changing line, 1, and are in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Water of Water Ox puts a tiger in line 6. Pursue your aim courageously. The energy is strong and bright.
