Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/12/15

10/12 is the day of Metal Rooster in the month of Wood Rooster. This is a discordant combination. It strongly favors independence and encourages financial gains.
Rooster is the Commanding Star for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three this is a good day to take charge and make progress in your career.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this is a good day for romantic affairs.
Rooster generally favors Ox, Snake, Dragon, and Monkey; is neutral toward Pig, Rat, Tiger, Horse, and Sheep; clashes with Rooster and Rabbit; and is either good or bad with Dog depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 56, line 1.

Hexagram 56 is Lu, the Traveler. Success in paying attention to details. Perseverance brings good luck.

Line 1 advises against pettiness. The zodiac sign for line 1, Dragon is strong by the season, and, in the hexagram, represents business interests and money. It is productive. Dragon is, for the most part, in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 2 and 3, and with the signs of the day and month. The Metal of Metal Rooster day puts a tiger in line 1. It favors straight forward action.
