Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/8/15

10/8 is the day of Fire Snake in the month of Wood Rooster. This is a harmonious combination. It encourages resolving difficulties by taking positive advantage of them, and by following hunches. It also has the nature of being impatient, and can cause intolerance and anger.
Snake is the Traveling Star for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three, this may be a busy day, good for clearing things up, moving forward at work, and traveling.
Snake generally favors Snake, Rooster, Ox, Horse, and Sheep; is neutral toward Dog, Rat, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Monkey, Pig, and Tiger.
The I Ching hexagram for this day is number 32, line 3.

Hexagram 32 is Heng, Constancy. Success through taking action and persevering. No blame.

Line 3 warns that vacillating can bring disaster. The zodiac sign for line 3, Rooster, is strong in the season, and, by the hexagram, represents power, or the ability to stand up to challenges. Rooster is partially discordant with the signs of changing lines, 1 and 5, in harmony with the sign of the day, and clashes with the sign of the month. The Fire of Fire Snake day puts a snake in line 3. Watch out for clandestine enmity, or false friendship. Trust your instincts.
