Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/9/15

10/9 is the day of Earth Horse in the month of Wood Rooster. This is a discordant combination that can bring out restlessness, irritability, and intolerance. It favors productivity nonetheless.
Horse is the Commanding Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three, this is a good day for taking charge and moving forward in your career.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox this is a good day for romantic affairs.
Horse generally favors Dog, Tiger, Sheep, and Snake; is neutral toward Monkey, Rooster, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Rat, Ox, and Horse.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 38, line 4.

Hexagram 38 is Kui, Opposition. Good fortune in paying attention to details.

Line 4 advises choosing those who are cooperative and whom you can trust. The zodiac signs of line 4, Rooster and Dog, are strong by the season, and represent productive work in the hexagram. This is good. Rooster and Dog are for the most part in harmony with the signs of changing line, 2, and with the sign of the day, but clash with the sign of the month. The Earth of Earth Horse day puts a tortoise on line 4. It favors privacy and paying close attention to what you are doing.
