Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/13/15

10/13 is the day of Water Dog in the month of Fire Dog. This is a discordant combination. It is the first day of the month of Fire Dog. This combination is highly creative, and favors standing up to odds and taking the lead.
Dog is the Star of Art for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these this is an especially good day for creative work.
Dog generally favors Dog, Tiger, Horse, Rabbit, and Monkey; is neutral toward Pig, Rat, and Snake; clashes with Dragon, Sheep, and Ox; and is is either good or bad with Rooster depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 60, line 1.

Hexagram 60 is Ji, Limitation. Success. Excessive limitation should not be pursued.

Line 1 advises being mindful of your boundaries. The zodiac sign of line 1, Snake, is weak by the season, and represents in the hexagram money. Snake is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 3, and with the signs of the day and month. Money can be put to good use. The Water of Water Dog day puts a tortoise in line 1. It advises being private and cautious about money matters.
