Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/15/15

10/15 is the day of Wood Rat in the month of Fire Dog. This is a harmonious combination. It favors freelancing and speculating.
Rat is the Commanding Star for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these this is a good day for taking the lead and advancing in your career.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep this is a good day for romance.
Rat generally favors Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Ox, and Pig; is indifferent toward Tiger, Snake, Rooster, and Dog; clashes with Rabbit and Horse; and is either good or bad with Sheep depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 34, line 4.

Hexagram 34 is Dazhuang, Great Power. Persist with what is right.

Line 4 advises not using excess force. The zodiac sign of line 4, Horse, is somewhat weak by the season, and, in the hexagram, represents what supports you, your resources, education, home, health, and so on. Horse clashes with the sign of the day, but is in harmony with the sign of the month. Conditions will improve. The Wood of Wood Rat day puts a snake in line 4. Look beneath the surface. Everything improves upon standing your ground.
