Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 1/12/15
1/12 is the day of Earth Rat in the month of Fire Rat. This is a harmonious combination. It focuses strongly on money, and gives good fortune. Earth Rat is highly intelligent.
Rat is the Star of Romance for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is your day to shine.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon this is a day to pursue your career aims positively.
Rat gets along well with Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Pig, Ox, and sometimes Sheep; neutrally with Tiger, Snake, Rooster, and Dog; and problematically with Rabbit, Horse, and sometimes Sheep.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 33, line 2.
Hexagram 33 is Tun, Retreat, or Yielding. Hostile forces advance. To withdraw from them is correct and will bring eventual success. Be mindful of details. Persevere. This hexagram is bad in winter.
Line 2 advises to hold to what is superior and to persevere. The zodiac signs of line 2, Horse and Dragon, are in a harmonious relation with one another, and are in partial conflict with the signs of changing line 3. They are also in partial harmony with the signs for the day and month. The Earth of Earth Rat day puts a snake in line 2. Pay attention to details, while being open minded enough to find out something hidden, and proceed intelligently.
The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Earth, and Metal. Trust your hunches.
