Daily Chinese astrological I Ching oracle: 1/29/15
1/29 is the day of Wood Snake in the month of Fire Ox. This is a harmonious combination that favors working hard to make money through creative projects. Wood Snake also encourages love and pleasure.
Snake is the traveling star for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this may be a busy day, good for travel, putting your house and/or work place in order and making progress in your career.
1/29, 30, and 31 are not good days for important meetings or events for people born in years of Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. It is better to be independent. Wear something green to deflect shar (bad luck).
If you were born in a year of Tiger, Horse, or Dog this is a good day for making plans. Avoid arguments.
This is a good day for enjoying solitude for people born in a year or day of Tiger, Rabbit, or Dragon.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 55, line 5.
Hexagram 55 is Feng, Prosperity. Success. Be glad like the sun at noon.
Line 5 encourages associating with the best people. Use only those who are best qualified. The zodiac sign of line 5, Monkey, clashes with the sign of the day, but gets along well with the sign of the month. The Wood of Wood Snake day puts a tiger in line 5. If you are short-sighted you will have trouble. The tiger is ferocious. If you are far-sighted you will get past danger and prosper.
The elements in this hexagram are Water, Fire, and Wood. Wood is nourished. It grows and flourishes.
