Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 1/26/15

1/26 is the day of Water Tiger in the day of Fire Ox. This is a discordant combination. It favors hard work. Water Tiger is sharp and has the ability to take advantage of problematic conditions.
Tiger is the Traveling Star for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this can be a busy day, good for traveling, fixing up your home or work place, and making positive moves in your career.
1/26, 27, and 28 are unfavorable days for attending important meetings or events for people born in years of Snake, Rooster, or Ox. You may be at a disadvantage, and should be careful not to let others use you unfairly. Wear something black to ward off shar (bad luck). North is a lucky direction.
If you were born in a year of Rabbit, Sheep, or Pig this is a good day for making plans, but a bad day for getting into an argument. Let others go their way. Whatever they think is their business and should not affect you.
Tiger gets along well with Tiger, Horse, Dog, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; neutrally with Sheep, Rooster, Rat, and Ox; and problematically with Snake, and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 64, line 3.

Hexagram 64 is Weiji, Before Completion. Success. But, if before crossing the stream the little fox gets his tail wet, humiliation. It means pay attention to detail. This hexagram is good in winter.

Line 3 says that if you are on the wrong road, go back and try another. The zodiac sign for line 3, Horse gets along fairly well with the signs of changing lines, 1 and 5, while those signs are in conflict, and is in harmony with the sign for the day and in discord with the sign of the month. The Water of Water Tiger day puts a raven in line 3. If you proceed without becoming entangled in other people's conflicts, you will be productive. But, if you get into an argument, you won't. Don't waste your time.

The elements of this hexagram are Fire, Water, and Fire. Water overcomes fire; fire persists. Avoid conflict.
