Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 1/25/15
1/25 is the day of Metal Ox in the month of Fire Ox. This is a discordant combination. It favors secret research.
Ox is the Star of Arts for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day to devote to creative, artistic work.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Rabbit, or Dragon this is a good day for solitude.
The I Ching for this day, using the King Wen method is number 14, line 3.
Hexagram 14 is Dayou, Great Possession. One's house is filled with riches. Great success. This hexagram is good in winter.
Line 3 advises against being pretentious. A superior person knows intuitively how to be successful. The zodiac sign for line 3, Dragon, is in partial discord with the signs of changing lines 1, 2, and 4, and in harmony with the sign of the day and month. The Metal of Metal Ox day puts a tortoise in line 3. Proceeding carefully and quietly without telling others your business, is the way to become successful.
The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Metal, and Fire. Exercise patience and readiness.
