Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 1/10/15
1/10 is the day of Fire Dog in the month of Fire Rat. This is a turbulent combination. It favors work hard.
Dog is the Star of Arts for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs and are involved in a creative, artistic field, this is a good day to get a lot done.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rat, or Ox this is a good day to spend alone and enjoy solitude.
Dog gets along well with Dog, Tiger, Rabbit, Horse, Monkey, and sometimes Rooster; neutrally with Pig, Rat, and Snake; and problematically with Ox, Dragon, Sheep, and sometimes Rooster.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 49, line 4.
Hexagram 49 is Ge, Revolution. When your day comes you are believed. Perseverance leads to success. Regret vanishes. This hexagram is good in winter.
Line 4 advises being sure you are positioned correctly before initiating changes. The zodiac sign for line 4, Pig, is in a neutral relation to the sign for the day, and in harmony with the sign for the month. The Fire of Fire Dog day puts a tiger in line 4. Short-sighted actions can bring disaster.
The elements of this hexagram are Water, Fire, and Metal. It advises gaining insight.
