Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/11/14

9/11 this year is the day of Wood Rooster in the month of Water Rooster. It has harmony except Rooster fights with Rooster; the underlying energy is restless. The combination promotes resourcefulness, inventiveness, and courage.
Rooster is harmonious with Snake, Ox, Dragon, Sheep, Monkey, Pig, and Rat; and discordant with Rabbit, Rooster, Tiger, Horse, and Dog.
Rooster brings out possibilities of romance for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon; and puts Snake, Rooster, and Ox in commanding position, good for career moves.
The Wood of Wood Rooster increases the energy of Rabbit, Tiger, and Ox, and makes this a peak day for Tiger. If you are a Tiger, look out for possible conflict.
The hexagram for this day, using King Wen method, is number 58, line 6

Hexagram 58 is the Lake. The Lake is successful. It is good to persevere. The Lake has the meaning of a mirror. It also means joyousness and romance, also wine and drunkenness. The hexagram is very good in fall. We are in Chinese fall season.

Line 6 points out that like attracts like. Reflect on your feelings. The zodiac sign of line 6, Sheep, is fairly much in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 3 and 4, and is in harmony with the sign of the day and month, Rooster. It is positively productive, even though two Roosters suggest turbulent external conditions.

The elements of the hexagram are Metal, Metal, and Metal. The energy of Metal is very strong and fortunate. Metal is cutting edge.
